Incredible Men,
Let me ask you something before July hits.
Which economy are you living in?
Not a trick question. But it's one most men have never actually stopped to answer. Because there are two completely different economies operating on this earth at the same time — and depending on which one you're running your life in, you will either grind yourself into the ground or walk in the kind of provision God always designed for you.
The world's economy says: more hours, more hustle, more stress, more control. It says your value equals your output. It says security comes from what's in your bank account. It says give less, keep more, protect what you've got — because nobody's going to help you if you fall.
I lived in that economy. For years.
I was working myself to the bone, building businesses, stacking wins — and wondering why I couldn't shake the weight. I had income, but I didn't have peace. I had provision, but I was exhausted. I was playing by the world's rules and wondering why I felt like I was losing.
Then I found this:
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
— Romans 12:2
That word "pattern" stopped me. Because the world has a pattern. A system. A playbook. And that playbook runs on fear, scarcity, and performance. When you're operating in the world's economy, you make financial decisions out of panic instead of prayer. You hoard instead of give. You control instead of trust. You confuse provision with performance — and you end up living like your next paycheck is the only thing standing between you and disaster.
But God's economy runs completely different.
In God's economy, the provider doesn't scramble — he stewards. He doesn't hoard — he gives, because he trusts the source. He doesn't perform for his provision — he receives it, because he knows who his Father is.
And here's the part that wrecked me when I really saw it:
God doesn't just want you to give — He tells you why you work in the first place.
"Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need."
— Ephesians 4:28
Did you catch that? The reason you go to work every day isn't just to pay your bills. It isn't just to build your savings account. According to God, you work so you have something to sow. Your labor is your seed. And a seed you hold onto never multiplies — only a seed you release.
That's why Jesus said:
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap."
— Luke 6:38
Nobody in the world's economy talks like that. Because the world says you can't give your way to abundance. But God's economy doesn't run on scarcity — it runs on seed. And the man who understands that doesn't grip his provision tighter when things get hard. He opens his hand wider.
Here's the question I had to ask myself — and I'm asking you today:
Are you a man who gives from abundance, or hoards from fear?
Because that answer tells you which economy you're actually living in. Not the one you say you believe in on Sunday. The one you operate in on Monday.
Now here's the truth I want you to carry into July:
You have been given access to the most unlimited economy that exists.
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
— Ephesians 3:20
Not around you. Not someday. Within you. Right now. The Holy Spirit of the God who created the entire universe is active and at work inside of you. That means you don't build from the outside in — you build from the inside out. The ideas, the creativity, the strength, the wisdom to provide for your family — it doesn't come from grinding harder. It flows from a man who knows his source and stewards what God gives him.
I want to challenge you to make one shift:
Stop playing by the world's rules with God's resources.
You were not built for scarcity. You were not built to hoard. You were not built to lead from fear. You were built — by the God of abundance — to be a man who works with purpose, gives with generosity, and trusts with the kind of faith that says: my God has already put the ram on the mountain.
